Break the complaining habit!

Break the complaining habitIt can feel natural to default to talking about our problems with anyone who will listen.  But talking about our problems creates two other problems:

  1. It perpetuates our problems by giving energy and power to them.  This causes them to last longer, and often creates more problems.
  2. Those we share our problems with feel compelled to sympathize, thereby taking on the negativity of our situation.  We can actually change their mood from good to bad.

Talking about your joys causes more positive things to come your way, and puts everyone around you in a good mood.

Just for today, try not to complain about anyone or anything, and see what happens!
