We often cause ourselves anger and disappointment because others don’t think or act the same way we do. We can’t see how they could possibly think or act that way.
Through practicing patience we can begin to recognize that many people are facing challenges in their lives, and they have a different set of tools to deal with those challenges than we do.
When we practice gentleness and tolerance toward other people, they can often learn tools from us that are useful to them in solving their challenges.
