“The body benefits from movement and the mind benefits from stillness.”
– Sakyong Mipham
Loving Hands Yoga and Reiki is a small, intimate studio whose aim is to promote health and peace through the mindful practice of the yoga and Reiki healing paths.
We provide a quiet, relaxing environment for improving our bodies, our minds, and our spirits. We promote an atmosphere of acceptance and respect for all people, no matter what their present condition might be.
We also bring the gift of yoga to children in schools and child care centers, and to senior adults and the disabled at home and in group communities.
Our Philosophy
We believe that world peace starts with individual inner peace. Yoga and Reiki are wonderful ways to take care of ourselves, get healthy, and get centered. Then when we take this centered balance into the rest of our lives, our inner peacefulness radiates out to everyone around us. It’s contagious!
How Are Yoga and Reiki Similar?
Yoga and Reiki are two paths to wellness that can be practiced by anyone, with or without previous experience. Both are gentle, accepting, and tailored to personal needs. And both promote healing on the physical, mental, and emotional levels. The practices of yoga and Reiki help us take an active part in our physical well-being, as well as to help us achieve calm, balance, and focus in our daily lives. We invite you to explore one or both of these paths with us.
About The Studio
Loving Hands Yoga and Reiki is located in a beautiful 1925 Craftsman style bungalow that was featured on the 2011 Cleveland Heights Home Heritage Tour. Classes and treatments are held in a lovely, sunny open studio room, separate from the living spaces.
Founder Judith Eugene is certified through the YogaFit® teacher training program, and is a Reiki Master Teacher certified through the Usui Shiki Ryoho program. She has been practicing yoga since 2001 and Reiki since 2009. Her yoga clients include people from age 3 to age 93, at all levels of ability. And her Reiki clients include people and all kinds of animals (even a worm!)
Spreading Peace

She has spoken throughout Cleveland, Kent and Youngstown, sharing her expertise on such topics as overcoming obstacles, positive imaging, relaxation, stress management, meditation, energy balancing, and caregiver relief with many local groups and organizations. Please contact us to arrange an informative and inspiring event for your group.
Kitty Cats
The Loving Hands Yoga and Reiki studio is home to three fabulous felines – Cassandra, Athena, and Marshmallow. If kitties pose an allergy challenge for you, please let us know and we would be glad to recommend other local kitty-free studios.
Our Symbol
This spiral is the Tibetan symbol for the origins of the universe
It represents a seed rotating clockwise in the spiral of potential energy
It is the perfect symbol to represent all of the possibilities
we each have inside of us
And all of the creative energy we have
to manifest them for our greatest and highest good.
