When we stop to consider that things rarely turn out the way we plan them, we realize how little control we actually have.

This can be frightening. However when we consider that things still turn out ok, we can relax.

Our lives become much easier when we ask for guidance rather than try to predict the future. Every morning, ask to be shown the next steps on the path of your soul’s purpose, ask for the wisdom to see the steps, and ask for the courage to take them.

Letting go of control is liberating. As my mother used to say “It’s ok to resign as General Manager of the Universe…God really does have everything under control.”
