Disappointment can be a hard thing to get past. But we can help ourselves by remembering that once something has happened, it’s the past. And once something is in the past, we can’t change it. Things may not always go the way we want them to, and people may not always do what we want them to, but we can always control what we think or do in response. Learn your lessons from these events and then let them go and move forward. Frustration, anger, hatred and guilt are damaging emotions to hang on to.
