When we meditate we stay in the present moment and learn how not to let our thoughts carry us away with them. Our thoughts are almost always about the past or the future. In meditation we focus on what IS rather than what WAS or what MAY NEVER BE (ie: we don’t get carried away in drama).
Regular practice of meditation has amazing results in our every day lives. We eventually become good at staying in the present moment in difficult or sad situations. We learn how to RESPOND rather than REACT (ie: we don’t get carried away in drama). Good stuff to learn!
